Disturbing
I finally got the kids settled last night, I was laying down listening to the news and I couldn't believe what I was hearing! What person in their right mind thinks we should be teaching Human Growth & Development ~ Sex Ed ~ whatever you'd like to call it, to our 5 year olds!! Is it really that important for young children know the "proper" names for their "private parts"? My 7 year old son is barely mature enough to handle that information! What happened to the innocence of children? There are some things that need to be learned at home ~ not in school!!

well done! And a thought provoking blog. My kids are "grown" and if they were still little I'm not sure what I would think about that subject. But I do think that is a shame that we grow up thinking the real names for some body part are a dirty word but then again I wouldn't want my kids to go around talking about those body parts...just like everything anything to do with raising kids is a big "I don't know!" I look forward to reading about the next issue floating around in your head. I had a blog spill out of me this morning. Tina
